Los Angeles High's school newspaper, the Blue & White, will reflect and appeal to our generations' viewpoints.  We will continue to make progress and keep the paper consistent.  This year we are focused on getting students and the rest of the , one of our priorities is to get students and the rest of the community involved.  Therefore, our newspaper will bring up-to-date news and get everyone's input. Overall, our goal is that everyone will be informed by the Blue & White.

 

Achieving these goals will take a lot of courage and a code of ethics.  Specifically, the staff will need to become familiar with the California Student Press Law, Section 48907.  Written February 22, 1977. This law gives student journalists, in California, the exact same rights as professional journalists. Therefore, it is our responsibility as a newspaper to utilize our privilege as the voice of the school.  

 

As part of our mission to accomplish important goals,we need to hear everyone's voice. Ultimately, our main goal will concentrate on reporting quality news that everyone will enjoy. The Blue & White will be a reliable souce, where reporters seperate facts from opinions to produce quality content. Our newspaper will be a genuine and significant part of our school.
