A Girl's Place is at Home

Save the drama for your mama, we’re here to play.

Softball has changed in different ways with a new a coach, new players, new uniforms and madness all around it. This year the Lady Romans’ softball team is fighting to get to the top with a fresh spirit. The girls have been practicing hard to change the meaning of softball. Jayana Lewis says “My main goal is to totally clear my mind as I’m up to bat to bring my teammates home.” Running, sliding and hitting, the girls have learned that a team will never be complete without a coach who wants to win as bad as the entire team does. Julie Diaz says “I would like for us to go to playoffs because it would be a dream to win championship. We are really putting in work to make it there. HARD WORK PAYS OFF”.

Our senior captain, Oneida, inspires the girls, by saying, “this season I feel that God has our back and I feel confident in our team and our ability to be successful under the direction of Coach E Scott”. The Lady Romans softball team will continue to fight until they accomplish their dreams and ours, by giving us a new story and a new ring every year.
