With its third season coming to an end this spring, Arrow has managed to captivate its audience with strong, well developed characters. The show revolves around the billionaire turned vigilante, Oliver Queen. His journey begins when he finds himself on an unknown island after a shipwreck.  On the island, Lian Yu, he is taught survival skills, by a man named, Yao Fei. But upon returning to his hometown, Starling City, he uses those skills in order to take down those he thinks are criminals and are contributing to the city's corruption.

 

Alongside him are Roy Harper, a street criminal also turned vigilante, John Diggle, a security specialist and ex-soldier, and Felicity Smoak, a technology genius.  

 

The show continues to impress the audiences through its action packed scenes. Perfect for those who are looking for an action filled television show, those who do not like violence might want to stay away.  Arrow airs on the CW, Wednesdays at 9:00 p.m.
