A Successful Season

Our Roman “Empire” team has played phenomenally. Veteran coach, Eric Scott, impacted the team greatly; they have a record of 8 wins and 2 losses. As league champions, ranked number 1, overall, throughout Division 3, they secured the number one seed in playoffs. The offense scored a whopping 405 points, while the defense only allowed 110 points all season.  Four players, statistically, are in the top five for Division 3, including: Richard Smith, ranking 4th in total points scored, Elijah Thompson, ranking 1st in interceptions, Justin Rodgers, ranking third in receiving yards and, Kaymen Cureton, ranking 3rd in passing yards. The regular season ended with a loss; however, they won their first round playoff game against Roybal High School 42 to 3 and are on a journey to a City Title.
