School safety has always been a big concern for schools and parents. The safety of the students, should be important to the district and administrators. Most parents are concerned with their child’s safety both in and out of school, so why not lessen their worries during school?...

Even if you, personally, haven’t been bullied, you probably know somebody who has - your best friend, your brother, your sister, or, perhaps, just somebody you’ve passed by in the hallways. In this society, media constantly portrays bullying. But, it is important to realize that bullying does exist outside the media as well...

In the book “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time” we are introduced into the life of Christopher, the protagonist. He is a 15 year old boy who has a mental disorder. Although it is never mentioned, one can assume he suffers from either autism or Asperger's Syndrome. Despite his disability he is very intelligent and observant and has hopes of passing his advanced math test.

The book takes place in England where Christopher lives alone with his father and attends a school for special kids with special needs. The book starts off by showing how Christopher finds a dog named Wellington murdered with a garden fork in his neighbor’s garden. He then sets off to figure out who has killed the dog, and from this investigation he finds out much more than he had set off for. This includes the secrets about his deceased mother and the danger in his household. Christopher writes all of the information he finds into a book his teacher has asked him to write. In the end, Christopher solves the mystery along with other things he found out and he is optimistic of what’s to come in his future.
